The vision began one night in August of 2007.  That night Randy was unable to sleep.  He was frustrated and upset over the lack of time he was able to spend with each patient due to the large volume increases the pharmacy was seeing every day.  He wanted to care for his patient’s physical and spiritual needs; however, there was no time due to the volume and lack of proper staff.  He felt the Lord say to him, “You can, in your own pharmacy.”  Randy was doubtful until the Lord then revealed to him the phrase “The Cross Pharmacy, because healing begins at the Cross.”  He began to envision a new pharmacy in Pryor where prayer would be added to all patients’ care.  After discussing it the next day with Melinda, they began praying, researching, and seeking input from Christian, pharmacy, and business sources.
